Quick Rosemary and Garlic Salmon with Capers

INGREDIENTS

salmon steaks – fresh or frozen (I used fresh salmon that I did freeze couple of days before, so it was frozen)
Adobo seasoning (original flavour) or Vegeta (vegetable seasoning)
dried rosemary or even better fresh one
few garlic cloves – 1 per each salmon steak (chopped finely)
capers

EQUIPMENT

non-stick baking dish

METHOD

Place salmon in baking dish.
Sprinkle with Adobo, garlic and rosemary.
Bake in 180°C (356°F) for about 20-30 minutes (depending if from frozen or not).

Serve to the plates, sprinkle with capers.

Taste good with “Avocado & Yogurt” on a side.

  • Salmon can be replaced with rainbow trout Fillets or other fish.

Your thoughts…

  2. y is salmon sooo good?? but such an ugly fish!! LOL..

    yum.

  3. Look yummy, Margot. Avocado goes so well with salmon. Do the kids eat fish too? Adobo seasoning sounds interesting. I’ve not used in my own cooking before, although I have used the ingredients that make up the seasoning before.

  4. Nora,
    Yes, kids loves fish… :)
I will take a picture of Adobo, and I will post info with ingredients shortly… it is very similar to vegetable stock powder… it is used widely in the Caribbean (especially in Latino cuisine) and US… the one I have was produced in Florida. Adobo is a mixture of salt, garlic powder, oregano, pepper and other ingredients.
