Your thoughts…

  1. This is ideal for the autumn, Margot! Mmmm… I’ve got to try this, esp. since I drink smoothies like every day!

  2. So beautiful (as always) and woah the addition of all-spice adds such a nice touch :D~ … Wow good to hear that you’re working on a new wordpress theme … sounds exciting and I can’t wait to see it :)

  3. ahhhh what i like about shake is that it’s so easy to make and there are options to do them good, ranged from healthy to rich. i always love banana shake. what is the different with banana lassie, do you think?

  4. I’ve been trying to keep more smoothie ideas in mind as the berries of summer are disappearing. This sounds like a tasty option!

  5. This is different with the use of buttermilk.

  6. Beautiful and delicious smoothie, love it! x Gloria

  7. Oh Margot, it’s always great to stumble onto a delicious recipe, but having all the ingredients at hand to make it for breakfast, well, makes it even better. Thank you.

  8. Yum! I make banana shakes all the time, but have never tried that hint of allspice, bet it totally zings it up!

  9. Wow, this looks amazing! Do you happen to have calculated the nutritional information, too? I don’t think this would be too hard to cut down to single-person-serving size, either (except for the fact that I don’t really have buttermilk lying around!).

  10. oh yeah, and where on earth did you get that awesome spoon??

  11. Thank you for all the comments! :)

    – honestly, I don’t see difference between shake and lassi, looks like the same thing, milk/yogurt based drink with fruit or veg…

El – those cute plastic spoons are from some Italian designer, but I forgot the name, and I don’t have the box any more :( No, I did not calculated the nutritional information… I try to eat healthy, lots of fruit and veg, don’t fry food too often, eat smaller portions but I’m not counting anything… no time for that.
