Homemade Cappuccino, Mocha or Fluffy

INGREDIENTS

full fat milk
instant or regular coffee (for cappuccino and mocha)
instant chocolate powder / cocoa powder and / or cinnamon (in shakers)
hot water
biscuits, your favourite chocolate or muffins to serve
sugar to serve

EQUIPMENT

milk frother
stencils / dusters

METHOD

cappuccino

For cappuccino prepare coffee and keep aside. Fill cappuccino cups ¼ way with milk. Optionally heat milk in microwave, then use frother in each cup for about 1 minute until milk is fluffy and fills the cup half way. Then fill them with coffee. At the end place stencils on the top of the cups and sprinkle with chocolate powder, coco powder and / or cinnamon.

Serve with sugar or something sweet on a side.

mocha

To make mocha prepare half instant coffee and half instant chocolate with hot water and leave aside. I use 1½ tsp instant coffee and 1½ tsp instant chocolate for about half a cup of water per person. Then fill cups ¼ way with milk. Use milk frother in each cup for about 1 minute until milk is fluffy and fills the cup half way.
Now fill cups with coffee chocolate mixture. At the end place stencils on the top of the cups and sprinkle with chocolate powder.

Serve optionally with sugar.

fluffy

For fluffy, fill cup half way with milk, heat in microwave, then use milk frother until milk is fluffy and fills the cup, for about 1 minute. My daughter love fluffy milk. For her I add sugar to milk on the beginning but you can add it afterwards as well. Sprinkle generously with chocolate powder and serve.

  • I used pictured above drink dusters / stencils came in pack of 8, but I don’t recommend them… they are not durable, some of them cracked and changed shape after first washing. I will have to look for new ones very soon.
