Tarragon Chicken with Onion Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

for the chicken
chicken pieces for 4 people (4 chicken breasts or 8 drumsticks, tights etc.) or 1 small chicken (separated)
2 small or 1 large onion (cut into wedges)
2-3 tbs grape seed oil
1½ cup water
1½ chicken cubes (10g each)
2-3 tbs dried tarragon
½-1 tsp turmeric

for potatoes
1½-2 kg young potatoes
salt
2 onions (chopped)
2-3 tbs grape seed oil
1 tbs Vegeta (vegetable seasoning)
ground black pepper
200-250ml single cream

METHOD

Fry chicken and onions on oil till golden, add water, cubes and tarragon, cover and cook till chicken is ready and most of the water gone.
In meantime cook potatoes in slightly salted water.
On frying pan fry onions on oil till golden brown.
When potatoes are ready drain them, add onions, Vegeta, single cream and mash everything together.
Season with black pepper and salt if needed.
Serve to the plates with chicken and some salad.

You can also marinade chicken night before, place it in container with tarragon, oil and turmeric.
Next day add only water and chicken cube when cooking.

Serve 4 people.
