Also known a butternut pumpkin.
It has cream yellow skin, orange flesh and nutty sweet taste.
Must be peeled, deseeded and cooked or roasted before eating.
Can be used in dessert or savoury dishes, see for instance: “Butternut Squash Risotto with Sage & Garlic” or “Grilled Butternut Squash”.
