Can be used like regular potatoes: peeled and cooked, fried, mashed with some milk and nutmeg, used in soups and stews.

  2. Margo, those are called Malangas in Cuba. And, in my opinion, they’re better than potatoes.
    Mom often served puréed malanga as a side dish, but I had no trouble making an entire meal out of it.
    Oh, you have brought back so many memories.
