Organic Fairy Cakes from Abel & Cole

A while ago I was writing about packet of goodies that I have received from Abel & Cole, a company that deliver to your door organic, seasonal food. Their products come from over 120 British farmers, bakers and producers – as well as some further afield (for Fairtrade bananas, coffee and chocolate).
Recently Abel & Cole come out also with Summer Range containing products such as Fairy Cakes! I was very surprised to see them in the package because for some reason ready cupcakes as healthy, organic products are hard to imagine to me, but yes, it is possible! 
They are coming in pack of 4: strawberry, lemon curd, chocolate and vanilla flavours and they are produced by Carol and Simon who make sponge cakes by hand, as you would do at home. Then they top them with butter cream using organic strawberry jam, lemon curd, cocoa and vanilla extract, without E numbers or food colourings.
So next time you order from Abel & Cole don’t forget to add something for dessert, such as Fairy Cakes or other delicious summer dessert.

THAT’s what Fairy Cakes are… They look yummy – perfect with coffee for breakfast (yes, breakfast!)
